This
park is situated in the heart of Ernakulam city,
in Kerala, the god’s own country of India.
A well laid–outs park on its western side
overlooking the backwaters of the Vembanattu Lake
and having impressive views of Cochin Harbour.
The ancient Shiva temple is situated near by with
“Shiva” as deity also known as “Eranakulathappan”.
It was built during maharaja rule period. This
is the one of the rarest Shiva temples where deity
is facing sea towards west. |

main boat jetty, the Cochin Corporation Office,
the District Court, Revenue Tower, St Mary Orthodox
Cathedral, and the prestigious educational institutions
like Maharaja’s College, Government Law
College, St Theresia's College are located alongside
